MVP FLIGHT, INC. "Invitational" Select Basketball League and Skills Development Program
7th Grade Boys as of September 2001

MVP Flight Basketball would like to invite your son participate in a special 7th Grade (grade as of Sep. 2001) "Select Basketball League and Skills Development Program". The league will begin July 2, 2001 and will include eight skills sessions and eight league games. The concept of the league is as follows:

We are inviting a select group of players who enjoy playing basketball and are striving to improve. We feel that a program like this can help develop their basketball skills and improve them as team players. Our program will involve more than just league games. We will have 90 minutes of individual teaching, team concepts, and of course high-energy game competition. The sessions will be competitive and fun for the kids. We are confident that this will be a great experience since this league consists of stronger players from the area. If your child loves playing basketball and wants to improve, this program will be a good one for him.

We will be focusing on the following:

Ball Handling Skills
Defensive Concepts
Shooting Drills
Motion Offense
Post Moves
Strength and Jumping Drills
1 on 1 Moves
3 on 3, 4 on 4 No Dribble Offense
Passing Skills
Rebounding Fundamentals
Pivoting/Footwork Skills
Team Concepts

Format:
Each session will individual and team teaching stations, competitive individual and team drills and of course a league game will be played during each session.

Cost:
The cost is $135. Price includes an MVP Flight Game Jersey.

Parent’s Consent and Waiver

I hereby give my consent for my child to participate in all activities at the MVP Flight, Inc. Summer Camp. I declare that my child is in good physical condition. I hereby give the Staff of the camp permission to render such medical and hospital care as, in their judgment, may seem advisable for my child. I also hereby state that we have adequate medical coverage and will not hold the staff of the camp liable for any injuries incurred during the camp session.
